Come experience the City of Peabody’s rich ethnic heritage at this artistic and cultural celebration of diversity in Downtown Peabody! 11:30am to 5:00pm

Until This Year’s International Festival!

Something For Everyone!

The City of Peabody is a rich cultural and ethnically diverse community. In 1984 Mayor Peter Torigian hosted the First International Festival in Peabody Square.

The festival boasted our rich ethnic heritage and diversity, with good food, good music, singing, dancing, and a wonderful display of local artistic talent.

Today,  Mayor Edward Bettencourt continues the tradition. The International Festival still attracts between 50,000 and 80,000 people to Peabody Square.

A Day of Fun

  • Entertainers performing on multiple stages.
  • Tons of booths with food from the many ethnic groups that enrich our community.
  • Artists and makers from around the North Shore displaying their works in the Artisan Market and Galleria.
  • A day of fun, games & entertainment at “Kids Corner” taking place at the East End Veterans Memorial Park on Walnut Street during the Festival!

“The International Festival is the largest celebration of its kind on the North Shore. Free and open to the public, the Festival showcases Peabody’s rich ethnic diversity and strong community spirit. Visitors can sample cuisine from around the world while visiting some 80 booths hosted by various restaurants, churches and community organizations. There will be music and dance entertainment on two Festival stages throughout the day. I hope you can join me, your friends, family and fellow Peabody residents for a truly memorable day.”

Mayor Edward A. Bettencourt, Jr.
